Friday evening in Alnouart

On Friday, we are organizing an exceptional evening in Alnouart.
The room is more spacious, and some marathoners will enjoy the Milonga atmosphere, typical of the neighborhood that Yumba offers.
Places are therefore available, reserved for Barcelona residents only at a promotional price.

Friday night milonga 10 pm /2 am

8 €

  • You will always have at the bar, self-service tea and coffee, perhaps some small sweets, and fruit.

At aperitif time, you will have some small salty dishes on offer.

Water in Barcelona doesn't have a great reputation. Of course there are toilets where you can fill bottles and flasks, but we recommend buying mineral water. For those who forget, we'll try to have a mini stock of one and a half liter bottles.

You will have a real bar offering red wine, white wine, Cava, local beers, homemade sangria (super good), fruit juices, sodas, etc.

  • There is no selection mode in my marathons. It's first come, first served.

Parity, leader / follower works like this: when there are five people too many in a role, this role is automatically blocked, until the balance returns. When the balance returns, 5 tickets are put on sale, and the first 3 on the waiting list are notified. Two tickets are left free, for chance.

The venue

The superb La Yumba room is located at 89 Calabria Street, in Barcelona, of course.

A great parquet floor.

Accomodation

For accommodation, it is a city center. We strongly recommend to book in advance!

Hotel Axel 2

The hotel in front of LaYumba is very good, gay trend not hidden, you even have a small sign to hang on the door, during the night, marked: please disturb, to be a little less fit the next day at the Marathon.

Bird House (a little further)

There are still quite a few Rb'n'b solutions nearby.

From the airport, the best is to take the A1 Aerobus from Terminal 1 (or A2 from T2) which goes to Plaza Catalunya in 35 minutes, departures every 5 minutes. Price: 6.75 euros.

Or a train from Terminal 2 to Sants Station in 22 minutes, departures every 30 minutes, for the price of a metro ticket.

For public transport (train, metro, bus, tram) the T-Familiar ticket has 8 multi-person journeys for 19.50 euros

Approximate price of a taxi from the airport to the venue: 40 euros

The VTC service is not very extensive…

Parking in Barcelona is expensive but we found one: €81 for 5 days and after that you can park in several different car parks.
